I was able to make this ornament for my son's first Christmas. The mold was easy to make and didn't take too much time. Plus there was no mess. I agree it was a little difficult to press the baby's hand - but not having a big mess to clean up was a big plus. It may be easier to do with a hand as opposed to a footprint. Plus I had enough room to personalize it by writing the date and his name. A great personalized gift for parents or grandparents that is easy and quick.

It's too dry when we open the pre-mixed packet. The baby's footprint can barely get onto the molding. I wouldn't recommend this product if you want to use it on newborns to 1-month-olds.
